Yesterday's match between Liverpool and West Ham will be remembered not only for another loss of points by the Merseyside team but also for the rift between the team's main star, Mohamed Salah, and the head coach, Jurgen Klopp. Recall that ten minutes before the end of the match, Liverpool's coach decided to freshen up the team by substituting several players, including the Egyptian. But before Salah stepped onto the field, they had a quarrel with the head coach.

The exact reason for the conflict is unknown, but the forward was certainly displeased with something. He initially gestured towards the field, and then towards the coach. Klopp himself did not engage in discussion and simply walked away, leaving Salah to be calmed down by his teammate, Darwin Nunez.

Legendary English footballer Alan Shearer reacted to this incident. Speaking to the BBC, he supported the Egyptian and said he understood the striker's frustration.

"We don't know what Klopp said to him. Apparently, he said something that angered him.

Obviously, he [Jurgen Klopp] did the right thing by staying aside. He hasn't reached the same heights as Salah in recent years, although he was an excellent player.

Salah ignored Jurgen [after the match], he applauded the Liverpool fans and walked straight towards the tunnel.

But we can guess what Klopp said to him. I understand this if Mo is in a bad mood because he has been Liverpool's superstar and their savior many times.

He has seventeen goals in 25 league matches. Anyone else would look at this and think 'incredible'. It's a shame it all ends like this because of what Klopp did to Salah."

It is worth noting that after the match, Mohamed Salah refused to comment on the incident, while Jurgen Klopp said they had sorted everything out.
