Further away from title. Liverpool secured a draw filled with scoring opportunities against West Ham

Liverpool faced West Ham away in the 35th round of the English Premier League.

The Hammers took the lead late in the first half. In the 43rd minute, Jarrod Bowen broke the deadlock, assisted by Mohammed Kudus.

However, early in the second half, parity was restored as Andrew Robertson found the net from a pass by Luis Diaz. Almost 20 minutes later, Areola scored an own goal, putting the Merseysiders ahead. But the home side was determined not to give up. Michael Antonio equalized with a splendid header.

No more goals were scored in the match. As a result, Liverpool collected 75 points but remained in third place in the table, while West Ham sits in eighth position.

On May 5th, Jurgen Klopp's team will face Tottenham.
