Chelsea hosted Burnley in the 30th round of the English Premier League.

The Pensioners looked livelier in the first half and rightfully went into halftime with a narrow lead. Towards the end of the initial 45 minutes, Mykhailo Mudryk stormed into Burnley's penalty area, where he was brought down by Lorenz Assignon. The referee penalized the offender with a second yellow card, and Cole Palmer converted the penalty kick.

Interestingly, Palmer became only the fifth player in Chelsea's history to accumulate 20 points in terms of goals and assists in the Premier League during his debut season.

At the beginning of the second half, despite being a man down, Burnley leveled the score through Josh Cullen's efforts.

Chelsea responded by intensifying pressure on the opponent's goal and went ahead for the second time. In the 78th minute, Raheem Sterling found Palmer with a well-crafted pass, and the latter calmly slotted the ball into the visitors' net.

However, the Clarets swiftly restored parity. Dara O'Shea redirected the ball into Chelsea's net after a corner kick and secured a point for his team.
