All winter long, Turkey's Antalyaspor have been facing problems from FIFA. The international federation has time and again penalised the club with transfer bans for the next three transfer windows, but now the Turkish team is facing a much more serious punishment.

Following FIFA's official portal, Antalyaspor have been penalised with an indefinite transfer ban until they settle their debts. It is reported that they are now in the order of two million dollars.

Earlier, the president of the Turkish club Sinan Boztepe commented on the transfer ban imposed on Antalyaspor as follows:

“There was a minor transfer ban, a few court cases and it's all over. These are not very serious figures, the penalty will be lifted if a payment of around 200,000 euros is made. We will solve it all, it's not a very important detail.”
