The legendary Argentine football club Velez Sarsfield has indefinitely suspended contracts with four of its players: goalkeeper Sebastian Sosa, central midfielder Jose Florentin, center-back Brian Cufre, and forward Ariel Osorio.

All four players are suspected of sexual assault. They will remain in police custody for the next 48 hours, after which the court will decide whether to extend their detention.

A 24-year-old woman has filed a lawsuit against the players, alleging that on the evening of March 3rd, when she arrived at the hotel to meet Sebastian Sosa, all four players sexually assaulted her.

The players have agreed to cooperate with the investigation, providing DNA samples to the police and granting full access to their mobile phones.

It's worth mentioning that former footballer of Barcelona, Juventus, PSG, and the Brazilian national team, Dani Alves, was recently sentenced to 4.5 years of imprisonment for sexual assault.
