Vittozzi won the pursuit race in Canmore and took the lead in the overall World Cup standings
Today, as part of the final stage of the Biathlon World Cup in Canmore, Canada, the women's pursuit race took place. The victory in the race was claimed by Italian athlete Lisa Vittozzi, who finished 12.2 seconds ahead of her closest pursuer. Interestingly, this win marked Vittozzi's second consecutive victory in Kenmore, as she also won the sprint event yesterday.
Following Vittozzi, four French athletes crossed the finish line — Jeanmonnot, Braisaz-Bouchet, Simon, and Gandler.
