Former Argentina national team goalkeeper Nahuel Guzmán, who currently plays for Tigres UANL in Mexico, has faced a very severe punishment.

Guzmán missed a crucial derby against Monterrey (3-3) due to a minor injury and watched the match from the stands. During the match, the experienced goalkeeper used a laser pointer to shine it in the faces of opposing players.

Upon discovering this, the disciplinary committee of the Liga MX suspended Guzmán for the remainder of the season, which amounts to 11 matches.

Additionally, the 38-year-old goalkeeper will be required to pay a financial fine and perform community service.

Guzmán is a legend at Tigres. He has been with the club since 2014, playing 458 matches for them. He has also made 6 appearances for the Argentina national team.
