Probable cause of Chiefs receiver's escape after massive crash known

Kansas City Chiefs player Rashee Rice is suspected of being involved in a six-car crash in Dallas.

According to Dallas News, the men fled the scene because they had a weapon in their car. They took the weapon and bags from the vehicles before fleeing. Dallas police suspect Rashee Rice was behind the wheel.

As per a spokesperson for the Dallas police, preliminary investigation suggests that two cars were speeding and lost control, causing a serious crash.

A Lamborghini and a Corvette veered off the road, triggering a chain reaction of collisions involving four other cars. The drivers of both suspected vehicles disappeared from the scene. Some of the injured were hospitalized with minor injuries. Rice is listed in the police report as the suspected driver of the Corvette but was not arrested. It is also unknown if any charges have been filed against him.

Rashie Rice was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in the second round of the 2023 draft.
