The FA has accused the coach of English Premier League team of engaging in threatening behavior
The English Football Association has filed charges against Wolverhampton head coach Gary O'Neill following a match against West Ham in the Premier League. It is reported that the Wolves mentor has been charged with indecent/threatening behavior.
This is due to O'Neill's violent reaction to the referee's controversial decision when Max Kilman's goal was not counted after a VAR review. The specialist got into a heated argument with the referees and after the game he publicly criticized the decision not to count his team's goal.
"I couldn't control my emotions well enough. It was a terrible decision by the referees. They can come up with some explanations, but I will never believe them. It's probably the worst decision I've ever seen," O'Neil said at the post-match press conference.
It is not yet known what sanctions the coach faces. He has until Monday to respond to the charge.
