Istanbulspor

The team used to show good football. In the 90s of the last century, it made the way to European competitions, where, however, there were no special results. At the beginning of the new century, the team, at the very least, is trying to survive in the Süper Lig. Then it was 17 years in a row in the First League (TFF 1. Lig). And this bad streak could last a lot, but, last season, having finished in the 4th position, “the Yellow Bulls” turned out to be the best in the play-offs. However, at the elite level, the team is not impressive. At the end of the summer it seemed that the newcomer got used to the tournament when, after 3 defeats at the start, in August, there were a couple of wins and a couple of draws in 4 rounds in a row. But there has not been any success since then – still, we may see the same 8 points in the asset and 6 defeats in a row on the liabilities side. There exist only meagre hopes that something has suddenly improved during the weeks of the break.
