Tim Tszyu

Son of Kostya Tszyu, Tim stepped into the professional boxing ring for the first time in 2016. His first significant success came with a victory over former world champion Jeff Horn in 2020. He went on to defeat other notable boxers such as Dennis Hogan and Takeshi Inoue.

In 2023, Tszyu temporarily became the WBO champion by defeating former WBC titleholder Tony Harrison. He successfully defended his title once but missed out on a victory against Carlos Ocampo. Tszyu was then elevated to full champion status. In his first title defense, he defeated former WBC interim champion Brian Mendoza. A bout with former lower weight class champion Keith Thurman was scheduled for March 30, but Thurman suffered an injury leading up to the fight.

Sebastian Fundora

Fundora has been actively competing in professional boxing since 2016. He was earmarked for a WBC title shot, and as preliminary fights, he successfully dealt with Jorge Cota and Sergio Garcia.

In 2022, a thrilling bout saw both boxers hit the canvas, with Fundora ultimately defeating former contender Erickson Lubin to become the WBC interim champion. Following this, he had a less impressive fight with Carlos Ocampo before being knocked out by Brian Mendoza.
