Lautaro Martinez will become the highest-paid player in Serie A

Inter will announce the extension of Lautaro Martinez's contract before the upcoming match against Verona. La Gazzetta dello Sport reports this.

According to the source, the Argentine forward will sign a new agreement until the summer of 2028. Under the new deal, Inter's captain will earn 8 million euros per year.

According to TuttoMercatoWeb, Romelu Lukaku from Roma, Dusan Vlahovic, and Adrien Rabiot from Juventus receive 7 million euros per year after taxes. Lautaro currently earns a net 6 million under his existing contract but is set to become the league's highest-paid player after the contract extension.
