There is a possibility that Barcelona will have a new head coach next season.

According to Helena Condis, Barcelona is considering the option of dismissing Xavi after the season ends. Club president Joan Laporta and several other board members are reportedly upset with Xavi for his comments during a press conference, where he lamented financial issues that would hinder the club's ability to strengthen the squad effectively.

Xavi's future is expected to be decided in the coming days.

It should be noted that in late January, after a 3-5 defeat to Villarreal, Xavi announced in a press conference that he would leave the team at the end of the season. However, after a series of positive results, the club's management convinced him to at least fulfill his contract, which expires in the summer of 2025.

Today, Barcelona faces Almeria in the 36th round of La Liga. Xavi's team currently holds second place in the league.
