The first finalist for the Championship play-offs has been decided

Leeds has become the first finalist of the 2023/24 Championship play-offs.

In the second leg of the play-off semi-final, Daniel Farke's team crushed Norwich with a 4-0 victory. The first leg at Norwich's ground ended in a 0-0 draw.

In the first half, Leeds scored three goals against the visitors. Ilian Gruev opened the scoring, followed by goals from Joel Piroe and Georginio Rutter. After the break, Leeds' top scorer, Crysencio Summerville, sealed the fate of their opponents.

Leeds' opponent in the final, which will take place at Wembley, will be determined in the match between Southampton and West Bromwich Albion. Their first game also ended in a 0-0 draw.

It is worth noting that Leeds were relegated from the Premier League at the end of the previous season.

In the regular season, direct promotion was secured by Leicester and the sensational Ipswich.
