Barcelona are preparing to secure the long-term future of one of their most important attacking players.

Details: According to renowned insider Fabrizio Romano, Brazilian forward Raphinha is set to sign a new contract with Barcelona today, extending his stay at the Catalan club until June 2030. Barcelona have already officially confirmed the ceremony, which will take place on Thursday, November 5, at 12:00 CET in the office of club president Joan Laporta.

After putting pen to paper, the 29-year-old Brazilian is expected to address the media at the club's Commercial Office. His previous agreement was due to expire in the summer of 2028, meaning the new contract will extend his commitment to Barcelona by another two years.

The renewal comes at an extraordinary moment in Raphinha's career. The Brazilian has already scored 19 goals in 13 appearances across La Liga and the Champions League this season, finding the net 15 times in the Spanish championship and four times in Europe's elite competition. Most recently, he scored twice against Aston Villa in the Champions League.

It's worth noting that Raphinha joined Barcelona in the summer of 2022. According to the club's official figures, he currently ranks fourth among Brazilian players in Barcelona's all-time scoring list, with 94 goals.
