Transfer bombshell! Ferran Torres could return to Barcelona
Less than three months after his move to Paris, Ferran Torres could be heading back to familiar surroundings.
Details: According to Spanish outlet El Nacional, Paris Saint-Germain forward Ferran Torres is considering a sensational return to Barcelona, the club he left during the summer transfer window. The 26-year-old Spaniard reportedly misses his former surroundings and has begun questioning whether leaving the Catalan giants was the right decision.
Torres joined PSG in August 2026 and initially made an outstanding impression. The Spanish forward scored seven goals in his first six appearances, quickly establishing himself as an important attacking option for Luis Enrique.
However, his remarkable start has been followed by a prolonged scoring drought. Torres has struggled to find the net since September, with his performances attracting increasing criticism in France. According to El Nacional, these difficulties have made the player reconsider what he left behind in Barcelona.
Nevertheless, a potential comeback would be extremely complicated. Torres signed a contract with PSG until 2031, meaning Barcelona would have to negotiate with the French champions to secure his return. The Catalan club would also need to assess whether bringing the striker back fits its sporting and financial plans. No agreement between the clubs has been reported.
It's worth noting that Ferran Torres made 207 official appearances for Barcelona, scoring 65 goals and winning seven trophies. He also finished the 2025/26 LaLiga campaign with 16 goals, sharing the Zarra Trophy with Lamine Yamal.
Reminder: Historic humiliation! PSG become only the second club in Champions League history to achieve incredible feat
