Three matches, one shocking zero! Vinícius sparks fresh concern at Real Madrid

Vinícius Júnior's struggles in the Champions League have reached a worrying new level.

Details: According to journalist Albert Ortega, the Real Madrid winger has failed to complete a single successful dribble in his last three Champions League appearances. The Brazilian was unable to beat his opponent in any of the matches against Roma, RB Leipzig and AEK Athens.

The latest disappointment came on November 4, when Real Madrid defeated AEK Athens 3-2 in the Champions League. Despite playing 81 minutes, Vinícius attempted just one dribble and failed to complete it.

The Brazilian's overall form has also raised questions. According to AS, Vinícius has now gone six consecutive matches without registering a goal or an assist. Nevertheless, José Mourinho's side have won all four of their Champions League fixtures this season.

It's worth noting that Vinícius completed an average of 3.27 successful dribbles per 90 minutes during the 2023/24 campaign. This season, that figure has dropped to just 1.63 across LaLiga and the Champions League, according to AS.
