Absolutely insane! Bellingham scores one of the most spectacular backheel goals of his career
Jude Bellingham has just delivered a moment of absolute football magic in the Champions League.
Details: During Real Madrid's away clash against AEK Athens in the fourth round of the Champions League league phase, the English midfielder scored an extraordinary goal in the 32nd minute. Bellingham stunned everyone with an outrageous backheel finish, leveling the score at 1-1. Marc Cucurella was credited with the assist.
The Spanish giants had found themselves in a difficult position early in the encounter. AEK opened the scoring in the 12th minute through Aboubakary Koita, who converted a chance created by former Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic.
However, Bellingham provided a spectacular response just 20 minutes later. His audacious backheel immediately became the standout moment of the opening half, with the finish being described on social media as one of the most beautiful goals of his career.
It's worth noting that Real Madrid entered the match with a perfect record in this season's Champions League. Jose Mourinho's team had won all three previous fixtures against Inter, Roma and RB Leipzig, scoring ten goals in the process.
Reminder: Mourinho has made his decision! Will Vinicius play against AEK?
