José Mourinho's Real Madrid have pulled off another incredible escape in the Champions League!

Details: Real Madrid secured a dramatic 3-2 away victory over AEK Athens in the fourth round of the Champions League league phase. The decisive moment came in the 90+2nd minute, when Federico Valverde scored the winning goal and rescued three crucial points for José Mourinho's side.

The match started badly for the visitors. Aboubakary Koita opened the scoring in the 12th minute, but Jude Bellingham restored parity in the 32nd. The hosts regained their advantage in the 75th minute through Stavros Pilios, before Kylian Mbappé equalized just three minutes later.

With the score locked at 2-2, the match appeared destined to end in a draw. However, Valverde, who had started on the bench and entered the pitch in the 67th minute, delivered the decisive blow deep into stoppage time. His goal completed a remarkable comeback and secured a spectacular victory for Mourinho's team.

It is worth noting that Real Madrid have now won all four of their Champions League matches this season, collecting 12 points. This was also their first away victory against AEK Athens, having previously failed to win on either of their two visits to the Greek capital.

Reminder: Mourinho has made his decision! Will Vinicius play against AEK?
