Chelsea's new head coach Liam Rosenior has been found guilty of speeding shortly before his appointment at the London club.
Details: According to Sky News, Liam Rosenior admitted to driving a car at 36 miles per hour in a 30-mile-per-hour zone. The violation was recorded on July 7 in Derbyshire.
Rosenior was offered the chance to avoid prosecution by attending a road safety course, but he was unable to participate due to a flight delay caused by fog.
The court ordered the coach to pay a total of £1,052 in fines and legal costs. Rosenior stated that he had to accept the court's decision due to unforeseen circumstances.
As a reminder, today, January 6, Chelsea officially appointed Liam Rosenior as head coach following the sudden departure of Enzo Maresca. The Englishman has signed a contract with the club until 2032, becoming the fourth permanent manager since BlueCo took over in 2022.
Reminder: Enzo Maresca bid an emotional farewell to Chelsea.
