Crystal Palace head coach Oliver Glasner has publicly voiced his dissatisfaction with the club's management.
Details: Speaking at the post-match press conference following a Premier League defeat to Sunderland, Oliver Glasner revealed that the team has found itself in dire straits due to a lack of players and insufficient support.
"It feels like we've just been left to fend for ourselves. I can't use many of the players. They're giving it everything they've got, and this has been going on for weeks and months. We only have 12–13 players available, and we don't feel any support," said the Austrian manager.
Glasner also pointed out that, for the first time since September, the team had a full week to train, but the situation was once again complicated by the club's personnel decisions.
"The day before the match, we sell our captain. I can't understand it. I've always kept quiet, but I can't anymore because I have to protect the players. Today, they've already played their 35th match," the coach emphasized.
According to the Eagles' boss, the problem is systemic and has persisted for more than just a few rounds.
"It's not just happening today—it's been going on for several weeks now. That's why I'm just frustrated today," Glasner summed up.
It's worth noting that Crystal Palace lost to Sunderland today in the 22nd round of Serie A. Spanish winger Yeremi Pino scored the Eagles' only goal.
Reminder: Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta has reached a preliminary agreement with Juventus regarding a contract.
