The 22-year-old Brazilian has emerged as a major target for City as the club continues reshaping its attacking options. Romano previously reported that Allan was viewed as the main option to replace Savinho, while negotiations over personal terms had already reached an agreement before the latest round of club-to-club talks.
Allan is naturally a right winger, although his versatility allows him to operate in attacking midfield or on the right side of midfield. The left-footed attacker has established himself as an important player for Palmeiras and has attracted interest from several European clubs.
It is worth noting that Allan has featured in 41 of Palmeiras' first 46 matches in 2026, scoring six goals and providing five assists. According to Transfermarkt, the Brazilian winger is currently valued at €20 million and his contract with Palmeiras runs until the end of 2029.
