Manchester City have finally got their man.

Details: According to renowned insider Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City have reached a full club-to-club agreement with Lille for the transfer of 18-year-old midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi.

The total package is set to reach €100 million including add-ons, with Lille giving the green light for their highly rated midfielder to leave the club. Bouaddi had already agreed personal terms with Manchester City in July, and the final obstacle was an agreement between the two clubs.

The Morocco international is now set to become part of Manchester City's project under Enzo Maresca. Bouaddi emerged as one of the standout young midfielders of the 2026 World Cup, with his performances for Morocco attracting major attention across Europe. His display in the 1-1 group-stage draw against Brazil was particularly highly rated.

It's worth noting that Bouaddi is only 18 years old and his Lille contract runs until June 2029. Transfermarkt currently lists the midfielder's market value at €50 million, making the reported €100 million package one of the biggest deals involving a player of his age.
