Terry envies ex-Chelsea player for... Club World Cup victory

During his time as a player and captain of Chelsea, John Terry amassed a plethora of trophies. The Premier League, FA Cup, Champions League, and Europa League all adorn his collection. You'd think there'd be no reason for sorrow, but the former Blues defender has found a reason not only for sadness but also for envy.
Details: In 2012, when Chelsea won the Champions League for the first time in history, the team, along with Terry, competed in the Club World Cup but lost to Corinthians 0-1 in the final. Terry never returned to the Club World Cup, unlike his teammate Cesar Azpilicueta, who triumphed in the tournament in 2021. And it's precisely for this trophy in Azpilicueta's cabinet that Terry feels envious.
Quote: "I've never won that trophy. Azpilicueta won it when he was a player, and I envy him. As a player, you want to be able to say you've won every trophy possible, and that one fits into that category. It would be a great event.
And as a player nearing the end of your career, you want to say, 'I played in this tournament and played against the very best.' This might be the first time in the world where you can say all the best teams will be here. Once it all kicks off, players will want to win," Terry said on talkSPORT Breakfast.
Reminder: It was previously reported that up to 14 people could leave Chelsea this summer.
