Chelsea preparing for a major squad clearout this summer to alleviate their wage bill.
Details. According to Football London, the club is considering selling or releasing up to 14 players as free agents. Many of them are under contract with Chelsea but are currently on loan to other teams.
It is expected that from the current first-team squad, Kieran Dewsbury-Hall, Christopher Nkunku, Trevoh Chalobah, David Fofana, and Ben Chilwell will be shown the door.
Among those on loan to other clubs, the intention is to sell Kepa Arrizabalaga, Joao Felix, Renato Veiga, Carney Chukwuemeka, Axel Disasi, Raheem Sterling, and Armando Broja.
