According to Maresca, these rumors are nothing but provocation and speculation aimed at disrupting the atmosphere within Chelsea:
"Links with Manchester City? That's 100% speculation. I have no time for that.
I have a contract with Chelsea until 2029. My sole focus is on this club and I'm proud to be here.
It's important to understand why this story appeared, but it's just speculation." – Maresca stated.
Enzo Maresca took charge of Chelsea in July 2024 and since then has managed 89 matches at the helm of the London club, recording 55 wins, 14 draws, and 20 defeats. Maresca's main achievements with Chelsea so far are triumphs in the Conference League and the FIFA Club World Cup.
Reminder: A replacement identified. Manchester City are considering Maresca as head coach to succeed Guardiola
