Official! Manchester City land Iliman Ndiaye in £65m deadline-day swoop
Manchester City have delivered another major statement on transfer deadline day.
Details: Manchester City have officially confirmed the signing of Senegal international Iliman Ndiaye from Everton. The 26-year-old forward has completed a permanent move to the Etihad Stadium and signed a five-year contract that will keep him at City until the summer of 2031.
The overall package for the transfer is worth up to £65 million. Reports in England indicate that Everton will receive an initial £60 million, with another £5 million potentially arriving through add-ons.
The move brings a dramatic end to one of the biggest deadline-day transfer battles. Tottenham had previously reached an agreement to sign Ndiaye, but Manchester City entered the race late and managed to take control of the deal. The Senegalese attacker was keen on the move to City, and the transfer was completed before the window closed.
Ndiaye spent two seasons with Everton after joining the Merseyside club from Marseille in 2024. During the 2025/26 Premier League campaign, he made 32 appearances, scoring six goals and providing three assists. According to the latest available Transfermarkt valuation, the Senegal international is worth €55 million.
