In the 17th round of the English Premier League, Newcastle failed to hold onto their lead against Chelsea, allowing the Blues to come back from two goals down.
After Nick Woltemade's first-half brace, it seemed the Magpies had things under control, but Eddie Howe's men looked lackluster after the break. Goals from Reece James and João Pedro helped Chelsea salvage a point.
Goalkeeper Robert Sánchez played the role of provider for the Brazilian striker's goal. The Spaniard launched the ball forward to João Pedro, who beat his defender and finished coolly in a one-on-one with Pope.
Interestingly, Sánchez has now created five goal-scoring opportunities for his team—more than any other goalkeeper. This also marks his first assist in the Premier League.
