Dybala is struggling to find common ground with Roma's management over a new contract.
Details: According to renowned insider Ekrem Konur on his X social media page, 32-year-old Roma forward Paulo Dybala could be heading back to Argentina at the end of the season.
Reports suggest Dybala has failed to reach an agreement with Roma on a new deal, with the club offering the Argentine a salary of €4 million per year—50% less than his current contract. Such an offer is considered insulting by Dybala, and he is now seriously considering leaving the team. The main contender for Dybala, should he depart Roma, is Argentine powerhouse Boca Juniors, who are eager to bring Paulo home and are prepared to offer him a suitable contract.
Dybala joined Roma from Juventus in 2022 as a free agent. During his time in Rome, he has played 135 matches, scoring 45 goals and providing 26 assists.
Dybala's current contract with Roma runs until the summer of 2026, and his market value is estimated at €5 million by Transfermarkt.
