Boom! Barcelona could sign Inter star
Barcelona may already have another major transfer target in their sights.
Details: According to SPORT, Inter left wing-back Federico Dimarco is open to the possibility of joining Barcelona. The Catalan giants already had the Italian international on their radar during the summer transfer window, and his contract situation could become an important factor in any future move.
Dimarco himself has now publicly addressed Barcelona's interest. Speaking at the Gran Galà del Calcio, the 28-year-old admitted that it is always pleasing to be linked with major clubs, although he also stressed his long-standing connection with Inter, where he came through the academy and has spent much of his career.
Another key detail concerns his future in Milan. Dimarco revealed that Inter have not yet held talks with him over a new contract, despite the defender hoping discussions would take place after last season. His existing agreement, officially extended by Inter in December 2023, expires on June 30, 2027.
It’s worth noting that Transfermarkt currently values Federico Dimarco at €50 million. The Italian has started both of Inter's opening Serie A matches of the 2026/27 season, playing the full 180 minutes, while his current contract has less than a year left to run.
