Official! Talisca makes a shock career move after Fenerbahçe exit

Talisca is opening a completely new chapter in the Gulf.

Details: Al Jazira have officially confirmed the signing of 32-year-old Brazilian attacking midfielder Anderson Talisca. The former Fenerbahçe star joins the UAE Pro League club on a free transfer after his contract with the Turkish giants was terminated by mutual agreement.

Talisca did not remain without a club for long after leaving Istanbul. According to Brazilian and Turkish media, the midfielder has signed a two-season contract with Al Jazira, while the Emirati club presented its new Brazilian star with the No. 94 shirt.

The move brings Talisca's spell at Fenerbahçe to an end after he joined the Istanbul side in January 2025. The Brazilian became an important attacking figure for the Turkish club and also played a major role during their European campaign at the start of the new season.

It is worth noting that Talisca made 75 official appearances for Fenerbahçe, scoring 44 goals and providing seven assists. He had already found the net five times in his first seven matches of the 2026/27 campaign before leaving the club.
