Burkina Faso will face Argentina during the upcoming international break
The Stallions will have the opportunity to take on the Albiceleste on 3 October.
Following Mauritania last March, another African nation will take on Argentina in a friendly. The Burkina Faso national team will face the 2022 FIFA World Cup champions and 2026 FIFA World Cup runners-up.
The Burkina Faso Football Federation has announced that the Stallionss will travel to Argentina during the September–October international break to face the Albiceleste. The international friendly is scheduled for 3 October 2026 in Buenos Aires.
This friendly match presents a significant challenge that will enable the Burkina Faso national team to further refine their game ahead of their upcoming continental fixtures. The friendly will take place after the first two matchdays of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Burkina Faso’s Stallions will host Benin on 25 September at the Stade du 04 Août in Ouagadougou on matchday 1, before travelling three days later, on 28 September, to Casablanca in Morocco to face the Central African Republic on matchday 2 of Group F.
