Great game by Yoro and Amad. Man United player ratings against Tottenham

The match between Manchester United and Tottenham turned out to be eventful and spectacular! I think everyone expected the teams to just field their second squads, since this is just some kind of League Cup. But no.
Tottenham came out with almost their main squad from the first minute.
Manchester United, on the other hand, initially fielded a mixed squad. It included five players from the deep bench (and not so deep), such as Victor Lindelöf and Altay Bayındır. But in the second half, when the situation urgently needed saving, several team leaders were brought onto the field instead of them.
Unfortunately, the Devils lost, but it must be said that the game was worthy. But let’s better talk about the heroes of this match…
Leny Yoro
Leny finally appeared in the starting lineup! Let me remind you that the summer newcomer to the Devils was unlucky – he hadn’t even had time to play for the Reds when he got injured and was sidelined for a long time. Today, we finally saw why this 19-year-old guy was wanted by Manchester United. Yoro showed confident and competent play in defense (6 duels won, 5 ball recoveries, 3 interceptions, etc.). His speed of action was particularly memorable, often leaving the opponent confused (they didn’t always manage to understand where Lenny came from and how he took the ball away from them).
Overall, Manchester United's defense showed itself… not so great in this match. And, perhaps, it was Lenny Yoro who was the bright star in this chaos.
Bruno Fernandes
Bruno always gets good ratings, but rarely falls into the status of a match hero. This is due to Bruno’s role – to support the attack, help others in its construction, and ideally bring others to the shot. Bruno had 67 touches of the ball in this match – this is the seventh indicator across both teams and, in general, a high figure for attacking players (for comparison: Eriksen had 38, Højlund had 23). In other words, his contribution is easy to overlook, but his input is the foundation of any Manchester United attack. Today, Fernandes was able to create a goal, catching Tottenham's goalkeeper on a mistake (on the second mistake, Amad already caught him) and providing an assist for Zirkzee. That is, finally, the Reds' captain was able to formally consolidate his contribution to the attack.
Amad Diallo
Amad was brought on in the 55th minute. He needed less than 40 minutes to make a difference. First, he perfectly pressed Forster, thus creating a goal out of nowhere. If you rewatch that moment, you’ll see: Amad is a very fast guy, and the goalkeeper simply didn’t expect him to make it. Towards the end of the match, it was Diallo who gave the assist to Evans and helped finish this game on a worthy note for Manchester.
Worth Mentioning
The appearance of Yoro as a center-back allowed Noussair Mazraoui to move higher and play in midfield. In such a position, Mazraoui could participate more in ball progression and handled it well. By the way, these two had the most touches in the entire team.
