Tottenham are enduring a nightmare start to the Premier League season. Following a goalless draw with Everton in the fourth round, the London club failed to score in any of their first four Premier League matches for the first time in their history. Squawka reports this.

The start of the season has been extremely disappointing for Roberto De Zerbi's side. In the opening round, Spurs lost 3-0 to Brentford before suffering a 2-0 defeat by Newcastle. In the third round, the Londoners faced Nottingham Forest and once again failed to find the net, drawing 0-0. As a result, Tottenham had just one point and no goals after three rounds.

Hopes of ending the nightmare run were pinned on the home game against Everton, but Spurs' attack was once again powerless. The teams finished 0-0, extending Tottenham's goalless run in the league. During the match, the London side again struggled with the final pass and creating genuinely dangerous chances.

De Zerbi has therefore been presented with a serious challenge at the very start of his time at Tottenham. Spurs have not only failed to win a single match so far, but have also set an unwanted club record for their lack of goals at the start of the season.
