Domino’s found the perfect moment to hit Tottenham where it hurts most.

Details: The official Domino’s Pizza UK account brutally mocked Tottenham after another goalless Premier League performance. Following Spurs’ 0-0 draw with Everton, the company posted:

“We’ve delivered 489,297,478 pizzas since Spurs last scored a Premier League goal.”

The joke could hardly have arrived at a worse time for Roberto De Zerbi’s side. Tottenham have failed to score in all four of their opening Premier League matches of the 2026/27 season. Spurs lost 3-0 to Brentford and 2-0 to Newcastle United before recording consecutive 0-0 draws against Nottingham Forest and Everton.

The contrast with the club’s summer activity makes the situation even more striking. ESPN reported that Tottenham spent around £380 million on transfers during the summer rebuild, but that investment has yet to produce a single Premier League goal. After four rounds, Spurs have collected only two points and sit 17th in the table.

It is also the first time in Tottenham’s history that the club has started a Premier League campaign with four consecutive matches without scoring. Spurs are only the sixth team in the competition’s history to endure such a run from the opening round, with Crystal Palace holding the record after going seven games without a goal in 2017/18.

It’s worth noting that Tottenham’s next opportunity to end the drought in the Premier League will come against Aston Villa on September 19.
