Norwegian goal-scoring sensation Erling Haaland has built an extraordinary career at the top level of European football, but his journey began with the humble club Bryne, which plays in Norway’s Second Division. The club recently made headlines with a particularly creative marketing move.
Details: During their recent match against Vålerenga, Bryne introduced a completely unique way to watch football.
Fans can now purchase seats on a sofa elevated above the pitch, held up by the bucket of a tractor. Three fans were spotted enjoying the match from this unconventional vantage point, and the sight quickly became a talking point.
Reminder: Haaland played for Bryne from 2015 to 2017, but in 16 matches for his boyhood club, he did not score any goals.
This past weekend, the 24-year-old Norwegian scored his 100th goal for Manchester City, achieving this milestone in just 105 matches.
