Details: According to reports by The Telegraph, distressing new testimony has emerged during a two-day criminal court hearing in Paris regarding the violent home invasion suffered by Manchester City goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma. The Italian international and his then-girlfriend, now wife Alessia Elefante, who was pregnant at the time, were abruptly awakened in the middle of the night by armed intruders who broke into their luxury apartment on Avenue Montaigne.

Court documents revealed that Donnarumma was subjected to brutal physical violence during the raid, being struck in the face with brass knuckles before both he and his partner were bound with cables. The perpetrators held a knife to the footballer and issued chilling threats while ransacking the property for luxury watches, jewelry, and cash.

The couple was eventually able to untie themselves and seek refuge in a nearby luxury hotel after the assailants fled the scene, prompting a long-running criminal investigation that has finally reached the courtroom.

It is worth noting that according to Transfermarkt, the 27-year-old Italian goalkeeper's current market value stands at €45 million.
