Pep Guardiola is in no hurry to return to the dugout.

Details: Pep Guardiola's agent, Josep Maria Orobitg, has clarified the coach's plans for the current season. According to the representative, the Spaniard will not take charge of either a club or a national team during the 2026/27 campaign. His statement effectively rules out an immediate return to coaching.

Orobitg was categorical when discussing the coach's immediate future: Pep will not coach any club or national team this season. That means Guardiola intends to remain away from day-to-day football management for the time being.

The agent also separately dismissed reports linking Guardiola with Trabzonspor. The Turkish club had been mentioned as a possible destination for the decorated Spanish manager, but his representative made it clear that there are no plans for such a move.

AS also recalled Guardiola's previous comments that he wants to devote time to life outside football and will only return to coaching when he once again feels the necessary motivation from within.

It's worth noting that Trabzonspor are currently fourth in the Turkish Super Lig with seven points from their opening four matches, having scored nine goals and conceded four.
