Orlando Pirates are still without striker Evidence Makgopa and Thalent Mbatha due to injury

Evidence Makgopa and Thalente Mbatha are nowhere near the Orlando Pirates starting line up as they continue to battle injury.

The duo has been out since the start of the month with injury and initially, it was thought that both players would undergo operation, but those fears were allayed by confirmation that they will not need surgery.

This afternoon the Sea Robbers face Mauritian side LAs Cure Wave without them in the Caf Champions League second leg preliminary match.

The game takes place at Orlando Amstel Arena.

“Midfielder Thalente Mbatha meanwhile continues to edge closer to a return to full training alongside striker Evidence Makgopa,” said a club statement.
