Mzwakhe Ngwenya

Mzwakhe Ngwenya is from Vosloorus, a township on the East of Johannesburg in South Africa, and has been in the football writing business for over a decade. Like any township kid, his love for the beautiful game started from the dusty streets of the East Rand township.

As a journalist, Ngwenya has spent time in Europe covering South African players who played in leagues such as EPL, Eredivisie and La Liga. He is rich in terms of South African football history given that he witnessed the formation of the Premier Soccer League in 1996 and he has also contributed to local football magazine, Kickoff and other reputable publications in South Africa.
