Yesterday, it was reported that Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold is planning to buy the French club Nantes. However, after this information surfaced in the media, the current owner of the club, Waldemar Kita, stated that he knows nothing about it and has never heard of the player.
Details: It was previously reported that Alexander-Arnold's father, Michael Arnold, held an online meeting with Nantes owner Waldemar Kita, followed by an in-person meeting in Geneva.
However, the French businessman denied having any such interactions, dismissing the entire story as false and asserting that this is not how serious business transactions are conducted.

Quote: "This is complete nonsense. Who came up with this? How can anyone expect that a serious person wanting to buy a club would act through a journalist? Trent Alexander-Arnold? I don't even know who that is! I just spoke to my lawyer and asked, 'Who is this guy?'
I’ve never had any video calls with anyone, never. This is absurd. When I sold my company, no one knew, not even the staff. That’s how business works. All this is just meant to cause damage and interfere. It’s not serious," Kita told Ouest France.
Reminder: Initially, the Alexander-Arnold family showed interest in purchasing Saint-Étienne and Le Havre but eventually focused on Nantes. According to previous reports, a €100 million offer was made to Kita. This amount included €80 million in direct payments and another €20 million as a loan, with potential bonuses of up to €40 million.
