Details: Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker has been fined £8,000 by the Football Association after accepting a charge of improper conduct following the 2-2 Premier League draw with Nottingham Forest on August 29.
The incident occurred around the tunnel area after the final whistle. The Brazilian walked past an electronic substitution board that had been left on the ground and kicked it, with footage of the episode showing the equipment being damaged.
Alisson's anger was linked to a controversial sequence earlier in the match. With the score at 1-1, Liverpool were preparing a triple substitution, but the fourth official did not have the electronic board ready. Nottingham Forest quickly restarted play with a throw-in, Neco Williams burst into the penalty area and Alisson brought him down, leading to a penalty that put the visitors 2-1 ahead.
Liverpool eventually recovered to secure a 2-2 draw, but the goalkeeper's actions after the match attracted the attention of the FA. Alisson subsequently accepted the charge and received the standard £8,000 penalty.
It is worth noting that Liverpool remain unbeaten after their first three Premier League matches of the season, collecting five points with one victory and two draws. The Reds have scored six goals and conceded four, with Fulham next up at Anfield on September 12.
