Every fan dreams of witnessing the South Coast derby, and sometimes that desire sparks some crafty schemes.

Details: Today it was revealed that two Portsmouth supporters have been banned from attending matches for three years after they disguised themselves as stewards to sneak into the South Coast derby between Southampton and Portsmouth back in September.

The match itself took place on September 14 at St. Mary's Stadium and finished in a goalless 0-0 draw. However, with all tickets sold out well before kickoff, two visiting fans—29-year-old Kane Green and 31-year-old Dale Green—came up with a bold plan. Donning high-visibility vests and carrying radios just like the official stewards, they managed to slip past security and enter the stadium.

The Hampshire police responded swiftly, quickly identifying the imposters. Today, the court handed down its verdict: a three-year ban from all football matches.

Reminder: Official: Oriol Romeu returns to Southampton
