Financial concerns continue to loom large for Serie A clubs.

Details: According to TuttoMercatoWeb, six top-flight Italian teams may face a suspension of transfer activity as soon as the winter window. Napoli, Atalanta, Lazio, Fiorentina, Torino, and Genoa are among those at risk.

The reason lies in the tightening of regulations regarding the "extended workforce cost," calculated as the ratio between personnel expenses and club revenue. Under the new rules, if clubs fail to demonstrate a positive financial balance or do not make the necessary player sales, they will be barred from registering new signings.

Clubs must submit financial statements for the period from September 30 to November 30, providing a detailed overview of their current status so the league can assess the situation and decide on possible sanctions.

Reminder: Atlético head coach Diego Simeone stated that he would like to manage Inter Milan one day.
