Manchester City have not lost 24 matches in the UCL. They are close to repeating the record
Manchester City began the new UEFA Champions League campaign with a home match against Inter Milan, which ended in a 0-0 draw. The "Citizens" are now closer to matching the tournament's record.
Details: As reported by Squawka, Manchester City have gone 24 consecutive Champions League matches without a loss in regular time. The current record belongs to their city rivals, Manchester United, who remained unbeaten for 25 games between 2007 and 2009.
City's next Champions League match is set for October 1, against Slovan Bratislava. The last time the "Citizens" lost in regular time was in the semi-finals of the 2021/22 season.
Reminder: Kevin De Bruyne sustained an injury. He left the pitch but returned to play for a few more minutes in the first half. However, the Belgian did not come out for the second half.
After the match, City's coach Pep Guardiola was asked whether De Bruyne would play in the Premier League match against Arsenal.
