Incredible success. Pyramids win CAF Champions League for the first time in history

Pyramids have claimed the CAF Champions League title for the first time in their history.
In the return leg of the final against Mamelodi Sundowns, the Egyptian club secured a nerve-wracking 2-1 victory to become the strongest team in Africa. In the first half, Fiston Mayele opened the scoring, and early in the second half, Ahmed Samy doubled the lead for his side, with the South Africans only able to respond with a goal from Rayners.
The final whistle from Somali referee Artan sealed a narrow victory for Pyramids, who continued the dominance of Egyptian clubs in Africa's most prestigious club competition.
Over the past six seasons, Egyptian teams have lifted the CAF Champions League trophy five times. Al Ahly have claimed four of those titles, and now Pyramids, founded only in 2008, can boast this incredible achievement.
