Took advantage of a gift. Mayele opens the scoring against Mamelodi. VIDEO

In Cairo, Pyramids and Mamelodi Sundowns are facing off in the second leg of the CAF Champions League final.
The hosts were content with a 0-0 draw, thanks to their away goal in the first match in Pretoria. However, it was Pyramids who seized the initiative from the opening minutes and broke the deadlock midway through the first half.
Fiston Mayele unleashed a brilliant strike from the edge of the penalty area, pouncing on a deflection off a defender’s leg. Notably, this goal is already the DR Congo striker’s sixth in this season’s competition, making him the top scorer at the moment.
It’s worth noting that after conceding the goal, nothing much changed for Mamelodi. The South African side still needs to find the back of the net. Remember, extra time and a penalty shootout are only possible if the score ends 1-1.
