CAF Champions League: Rangers International Held to 1-1 Draw by AS Sobemap

Rangers International were held to a 1-1 draw by AS Sobemap in the first leg of their CAF Champions League preliminary-round tie at the MKO Abiola Sports Complex.

The Nigerian champions took the lead in the 21st minute when Iwundu Chidozie found the back of the net to give Rangers an early advantage.

AS Sobemap responded shortly after the break, scoring the equaliser to bring the game level and leave both sides with everything to play for.

Rangers were unable to find a winning goal despite their efforts, with the two teams eventually settling for a 1-1 draw.

The tie will now be decided in the second leg, with both Rangers International and AS Sobemap looking to secure victory and advance to the next round of the CAF Champions League.
