The Bayern head coach has faced a wave of criticism from the legendary Sean Dyche.
Details: In a recent interview, 54-year-old former manager of Burnley, Watford, Everton and Nottingham Forest, Sean Dyche, strongly criticised the current Bayern Munich manager, Vincent Kompany.

Dyche was left unimpressed by the fact that Kompany spent heavily at the helm of Burnley without delivering results, ultimately leaving the club in debt:
"In 2014, I spent about £9 million at Burnley and we got relegated from the Premier League with 33 points. Kompany got 24 points after spending £127 million and then landed the Bayern job.
Come on, I just don't get how this works. I wish I could do that. I wish I could leave a club £127 million in debt and then get the Bayern job." – said Dyche.
Sean Dyche managed Burnley from 2012 to 2022, overseeing 152 matches and recording 152 wins, 114 draws, and 159 defeats.
Kompany took charge of Bayern in the summer of 2024 and has already won the Bundesliga and reached the Champions League semi-finals, which makes Dyche earlier comments all the more amusing.
