Bayern Munich is scouring South America to find a long-term understudy for their talismanic forward.

Details: According to transfer insider Ekrem Konur, Bayern Munich are closely monitoring Cruzeiro striker Kaio Jorge as a potential backup and rotation partner for Harry Kane. The German powerhouses have dispatched scouts directly to Brazil to assess the 24-year-old forward in competitive action following his prolific form in front of goal.

The Brazilian frontman has experienced an exceptional renaissance in his homeland, racking up 16 goals across 38 appearances this season. Cruzeiro are well aware of mounting European admiration and have reportedly slapped a €40-45 million price tag on their prized asset.

While the Bundesliga champions hold strong admiration for Jorge's dynamic movement, aerial prowess, and clinical instincts inside the box, they have yet to submit a formal bid or initiate club-to-club negotiations.

It is worth noting that according to Transfermarkt, the 24-year-old Brazilian forward's current market value stands at €25 million.
